The story so far...

Singing sensation Amanda Halloran burst onto the Country Music Scene in 2006, after graduating from the CMAA Australian Country Music College.  On stage from the tender age of 8 years old, Amanda has been performing now for over 24 years.

As a child she did ballet, modern dance and drama, she attended “The Entertainment Academy” where she performed regularly at fetes & shows.  She also gigged regularly with a duo on the Sunshine Coast as a teenager & recorded her first demo at the age of 18.

Amanda was always a writer, writing poetry from a young age - in fact, people have been telling her, her whole life she should be an Author, as she has a gift with weaving words eloquently. If you couple this with her catchy melodies & smooth, powerful emotive vocals & lyrics, Amanda’s music resonates with people of all ages.

Amanda was very grateful in 2012 to be a RADF (Regional Arts Development Fund) Grant Recipient towards Career Development in conjunction with the Moreton Bay Regional Council, she used this funding both toward "career development" and toward making the second album White Horse White Knight.

The support from RADF and Moreton Bay Regional Council  has been a blessing as Amanda is an independent artist so both albums are independently funded and released by Amanda Halloran - "I Wanna Know" & “White Horse, White Knight”.   Amanda made sure there is a song for everyone.  Her songs are stories of her life & lessons learned.

There are songs for the country, blues, soul, rock, acoustic singer/songwriter & alternative lovers.
With a wide range of material, both lyrically & musically,
the two albums consist of 24 tracks, only 4 of which Amanda did not pen.

Amanda has been very grateful to have got to work  & co-write with producer Brendan Radford in the past, as well as the rest of the "dream team", who made these albums sound amazing - Doug Gallacher, Vaughan Jones, Andrew Johnson, Gus Fenwick, Shane Mcgrath & last but certainly not least Marc Lea.  Amanda is looking forward to getting back in the studio very soon, having already written the material for the next 5 albums.

Amanda has done support for many artists over the years - including the delightful Chad Morgan.  She was nominated as a top ten Blues & Roots Artist in the 2010 Music Oz Awards and was also shortlisted as a country artist that year and was nominated again in 2012 in 5 categories for her original work.  She has won numerous competitions and festival placings over the years and was 2008's Voice of Urban Country.  She has been  a three-time top 20 finalist in the prestigious Toyota Star Maker Finals (that helped launched artists such as Keith Urban), back in 2008, 2010 and 2011.

Amanda has opened festivals and sung at major country events such as the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Mud Bulls and Music, Gympie Muster, the Great Noosa Campout, and The Urban Country Music Festival.  As well as supporting other artist over the years Amanda has headlined her own shows and has toured in QLD NSW & VIC.  She has also supported several good fundraising causes over the years by performing at events for the Star Light Children's Foundation, McHappy Day for Ronald McDonald House, Pay it Forward(support for
victims of bush fires) Careflight &  Soulcare.  Over the years she has sung at many functions for raising funds for McGrath Foundation - & community events for Rotary & Smith's Children Foundation - Amanda believes in giving back where she can.
